Edward Davey elected chairman of Lib Dem Campaigns and Communication Committee

Mr Edward  Davey

Edward Davey MP, Liberal Democrat MP for Kingston and Surbiton, has been elected as Chairman of the Liberal Democrat Campaigns and Communication Committee.
Commenting, Mr Davey said:

“I'm excited about this new responsibility and the ideas that Ming's campaign review has already begun to implement.

“The opportunity to work closely with Chris Rennard, now appointed to run our next general election campaign, is a real privilege with his experience and awesome reputation.”


Commenting, Liberal Democrat Leader, Sir Menzies Campbell said:


“Edward is one of our most talented MPs with a real understanding of modern campaigning techniques.

“His election, together with my appointment of Chris Rennard to chair the campaign, marks the beginning of Liberal Democrat preparation for the next general election.”
