BIOGRAPHY

Steve Cooke is a university lecturer; and International Officer for the largest branch of Unison in the higher education sector. He is an active campaigner against discrimination and was a founder member of Manchester Against Racism.

Steve is a local councillor on Salford MBC, and a school governor. Steve has been an active campaigner on housing; poverty and debt; the environment and against domestic violence.

Steve is thirty-three years old, married and has two young sons.

After becoming increasingly disgusted by the behaviour of those in power, Steve decided that the best way to change things was to do something himself.
