BIOGRAPHY
Jo, 35, is a university lecturer. She has a Ph.D. in Economics Transition and a First Class Honours degree. Previously she worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and has lived for periods of time in the Russian Federation. She is married to Chris, a materials engineer.
Before she joined the Lib Dems, Jo was an active campaigner on environmental and poverty reduction issues. She was a key member of her local Jubilee Debt Campaign team. She joined the party following the US/UK invasion of Iraq on March 20th 2003.
Jo is also a Councillor on Warrington Borough Council representing Bewsey and Whitecross Ward, and sits on the Board of Golden Gates Housing.
Since being selected as Warrington South's parliamentary candidate, Jo has been campaigning on Crime, the NHS and the Environment – areas of key concern to local residents.
In her very limited spare time, Jo enjoys fell walking, attending her local pub quiz and watching US TV Drama.
