BIOGRAPHY

Vic D’Albert was the first Liberal Democrat to be elected to Bury Council where he has now served 14 years on all major committees. He is currently Chair of Prestwich Area Board.

Vic joined the Liberal Party in 1983 and was a founder member of the Liberal Democrats. He last stood for parliament in 1997, again in Bury South.

Vic has earned a reputation as a campaigner – recently fighting to save a centre for disabled children and previously fighting to keep elderly persons homes open.

Political interests include the environment, social justice, health and community services.

In his spare time he enjoys music, gardening and the company of friends and family.
