BIOGRAPHY

Paula Southwood was born and brought up in Preston, Lancashire.  She gained a BSc in Computer Science and has spent several years working for a large consultancy firm - a job that has given her the opportunity to work from a variety of locations and with a number of different companies.

In 2003 Paula moved to the Wirral to be with her partner.  She joined the Birkenhead Local Party and was elected as group secretary.

In May 2006 Paul was elected to Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council for the Oxton Ward.

Paula has a keen interest in music, and plays the clarinet, saxophone and piano, as well as going to see live bands around the North West.
