Desmond Bouse

Candidate for Aberdeen North

General Election - 4 July 2024

Desmond Bouse

Desmond has been the Councillor for George Street / Harbour on Aberdeen City Council since 2022 and serves as the Vice-Chair of the Council's Anti-Poverty and Inequality Committee - which is implementing a million-pound fund to tackle poverty and help with the cost-of-living crisis.

Desmond moved to Aberdeen in 2019 to study History at the University of Aberdeen and has been a community campaigner in and around the city centre ever since. Desmond and the local Lib Dems led a successful campaign which saw the Council abolish the unpopular Garden Waste Charge in Aberdeen
