The Finance, Compliance & Admin Officer will be a key member of the Major Donor Fundraising Team at Lib Dem HQ.
As the largest third-party force in the Commons in a century, this new role will oversee Lib Dem Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) funded programmes. You will manage a small team and work closely with the senior Lib Dem Parliamentary team.
To deliver election success in priority areas across Scotland, with a clear objective of putting “more gold on the map” – be it Lib Dem MPs, MSPs, Lib Dem-led Councils and Lib Dem councillors.
Whether organising leaflets and mailings to voters, recruiting volunteers, supporting canvassing (knocking on voters’ doors) or making sure that everything goes to plan on polling day, every day is different as a Campaigns Organiser.
Using a mix of traditional and new/social media channels, with a focus on graphics, memes, and videos, the Comms Officer will work with party spokespeople to call out the failings of other political parties and promote a positive Welsh Lib Dem message.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to manage a team of volunteers & build campaigning capacity in North East Hampshire.
It is expected that the Campaigns Organiser will need to work some evenings and weekends by agreement.
This is a combined role for a Campaigns Organiser and Press & Communications Officer working 3 days per week as Press & Communications Officer for Edward Morello MP and 2 days a week as Campaigns Organiser.
