Katie Mansfield

Candidate for Bracknell

General Election - 4 July 2024

Katie Mansfield

Katie is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Bracknell, bringing a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors.

Katie has served as a local councillor in Richmond-upon-Thames for six years, working hard for the local community to improve transport options, revitalise the town centre and combat violence against women and girls. She has been part of the team at Richmond Council that has delivered transformative change after many years of Conservative rule and will use this experience deliver tangible results for Bracknell.

Her priorities for Bracknell include stopping Thames Water dumping sewage in the local rivers, improving access to GP services, and supporting residents during the cost-of-living crisis.

Katie’s diverse background gives her a unique perspective to the challenges we face. Growing up in Cork, Ireland, she later worked as an aid worker in post-genocide Rwanda. This was followed by a career in the corporate world, where she became the Marketing Director of a FTSE company while raising her three children.

Katie is ready to champion Bracknell’s interests in Westminster.
