Dominic Martin is the Liberal Democrat candidate for East Hampshire.
A former British Ambassador, Dominic is an experienced international economic negotiator, with experience of standing up for UK interests in the EU, OECD and the G8. The farmers of East Hampshire know that Dominic will fight hard to undo the unfair trade deals negotiated by the Conservative government.
Dominic has spent the last ten years working in the energy sector, specialising on projects to decarbonise heavy industry. He combines practical understanding of the challenges of the energy transition with a passion to achieve Net Zero by 2045. Dominic says: “East Hampshire is home to some of the most precious biodiversity in the South of England. Protecting our natural environment is one of my top priorities, including making our rivers and coasts clean and safe for everyone”.
Dominic is also a former Board Member of the anti-corruption charity Transparency International UK. He has been involved with the development of UK anti-corruption policy for the last 20 years and is a champion of higher standards of integrity in public life.
