Alan Grant

Alan is a writer, columnist, and communications consultant. He recently launched a small business providing media and public relations services. Alan is a keen reader and moviegoer and is a regular at the Edinburgh Festival and the Fringe. Politically, Alan is passionate about supporting small businesses and protecting freedom of speech and expression.

He was active in the Better Together campaign in 2014 and campaigned for a Remain vote in the referendum, he remains committed to Scotland’s place in both the UK and Europe. He worked in the United States of America in 2009 and 2010 and is especially fond of America. He attended Stirling University.
