Khalil Yousuf

Candidate for Farnham and Bordon

General Election - 4 July 2024

Khalil Yousuf

Khalil Yousuf is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Farnham & Bordon. A solicitor and small business owner by profession, Khalil is a dedicated local campaigner with the experience to deliver meaningful change.

Unlike many career politicians, Khalil brings real-world experience as a successful businessman with deep and long-standing roots in Farnham, Bordon and Haslemere. His pragmatic approach and strong community connections make him uniquely qualified to address local issues effectively.

As a Director and Trustee of Beacon for Peace, Khalil has organized charity walks in the constituency for many years. Recently, he has focused on tackling sewage dumping in the River Wey, opposing the closure of the Future Skills Centre, and fighting against Conservative-run Hampshire County Council’s plans to shut down Bordon’s Waste and Recycling Centre and SEND provision.

In addition to his local efforts, Khalil mentors children at an inner-city school and serves as Chairman of Lawyers for Humanity. His extensive pro bono work for vulnerable individuals has earned him a shortlisting for the Law Society of England and Wales’ Legal Heroes award.

Khalil Yousuf's blend of professional expertise, community involvement, and genuine commitment to public service positions him as the candidate who can bring about the change Farnham & Bordon needs.
