Candidate for Herne Bay and Sandwich

General Election - 4 July 2024

Angie Curwen is the LibDems’ parliamentary candidate for the new constituency of Herne Bay & Sandwich. Originally from Sandwich, Angie has lived in the constituency in Quex Park in Birchington for over 30 years.

Angie was the candidate in North Thanet in 2019.

Angie has a wide range of experience having worked in London in IT in her early career then moving back to Kent and working for the pharmaceutical company Pfizer before working with her husband which included the founding of Kent Crisps and Kentish Oils.

Angie enjoys being a part of her community and has volunteered locally at a primary school, a homeless charity, is a trustee of Louie’s Helping Hands (a charity supporting children with complex medical and educational needs).

She now works as a personal counsellor and is a member of the British Association of Counselling

& Psychotherapy.
