Helen Campbell is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Hertford and Stortford. Helen has lived in Hertfordshire with her family for over 22 years, and she is a county councillor on Hertfordshire County Council.
A former business journalist used to asking the tough questions, Helen will use both her professional and political experience as a councillor to get things done and deliver on the issues that matter most to residents across the constituency. Helen is a strong, principled and hardworking campaigner who takes the time to explain things to residents, challenges injustice and speaks up for the most vulnerable in our community.
Helen’s priorities are fair access to healthcare for all who need it, including access to mental health services and dentistry; supporting residents struggling with the challenges of the cost of living; and fighting for our environment, especially ending the shocking sewage dumping scandal allowed by the Tories.
She believes the UK must take steps to repair its relationship with the rest of Europe, and rebuild opportunities for businesses and young people in particular.
