John Skipworth

John Skipworth is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Makerfield, he is a retired Civil Servant and moved to Makerfield following his retirement in 2013.

John cares deeply about the NHS especially about the need for better Dental services in the Wigan area.

He believes that a key priority for Makerfield is improved transport infrastructure and will work for a 24 hour bus service.

Outside of politics he is an active member of his Church, a member of his local Residents Association, and occasionally finds time to watch cricket.
