Andy Konieczko

Candidate for Melton and Syston

General Election - 4 July 2024

I’m Andy Konieczko and I’m standing on behalf of the Liberal Democrats to be the next MP for Melton & Syston.

I was born in Leicester, grew up in Melton Mowbray and have fond memories of my time here. My parents still live in Melton, and I’m a regular visitor to the area.

I believe in putting people first and helping them to fulfil their potential - so that we can all achieve what we want to in life. But too many people aren’t getting the opportunity to do that at the moment.

Residents in Melton, Syston and our villages deserve better.

The message that we’re hearing from our conversations with residents is clear: the Conservatives have let us all down.

But even Labour’s leaders don’t think they can beat them here and are focusing their attention elsewhere.

This means that there’s only one realistic alternative in Melton and Syston if you’ve had enough of the Conservatives: the Lib Dems.

Polling day is Thursday 4 July. It’s time for change!
