Jade is passionate about disability rights and support, especially individuals with Additional Learning Needs.
Early diagnosis and support is vital to a childs development, and this subject is close to Jade’s heart. Due to her own experiences, Jade developed a passion early for supporting Learning Disabled individuals and those with ALN and has been doing so for the last 20+ years. As part of this, Jade has designed and delivered inclusion sessions to large audiences in her workplaces, as well as regularly providing support to peers and challenging the stigma regularly faced by these individuals.
Jade knows the value in listening to each individual and ensuring that support is tailored as such, and wants to use these skills as an MP to help the community she represents.
Jade believes that politicians are there to serve the public and that reducing the gap in society for the most vulnerable should be at the forefront of this.
