Caroline Rackham is a local candidate with a proven track record as a hardworking local Town and District Councillor and a member of the New Forest National Park Authority. She is currently Chair of Totton and Eling Town Council - the biggest town in the constitutency.

Caroline has spent her career working with communities locally as a Community Arts worker and Councillor and her particular areas of interest are in building a cultural economy locally and in protecting the beautiful and biodiverse environment of the area. 'We have real challenges locally with the Freeport and the Dibden Bay and Fawley developments, particularly for the younger residents in our community' she says. 'We need to build an economy locally which allows for better paid jobs while protecting the local environment.'
