Graeme Casey

Candidate for Orpington

General Election - 4 July 2024

Graeme has lived in Orpington for 12 years. Both his children attended a local primary school. Graeme has worked in the same school for over 5 years in a variety of roles. Especially with SEND children. Currently he is the schools’ Family Support worker providing support to families within the local community. He has also spent time as the Chair of the schools’ charity helping to raise money to provide much needed educational equipment for children. During the pandemic, he worked with key worker and vulnerable children providing continuity and safety during a troubling time for many.

Graeme Joined the Liberal Democrats in 2016 as a direct result of the referendum and immediately had a passion for brining about change. He strongly opposes the unfair first past the post system of election that keeps two parties in power on minority votes, he would campaign to end this unfair system and is determined to give everyone a voice. He is a passionate internationalist saddened by the diminishment of our nations status on the world stage. Graeme would fight for a stronger country ready to face the rise in threat we face from Putins Russia.

Graeme has also been a Bromley Councillor for the past two years providing a strong voice for local residents. He is a member of the Childrens Education and Families and Adult Care and Health committees continuing his professional interest in providing the best outcomes for our most vulnerable.

Graeme has always been a strong advocate for Orpington and the local area and is ready to fight for all our community in Parliament.
