Jed Marson

Candidate for Tamworth

General Election - 4 July 2024

Jed Marson

Jed Marson is Liberal Democrat candidate for Tamworth.

Green LibDems Vice Chair Campaigns, Jed advocates just transition to an electrified economy. He proposed a Windfall Tax. National broadband resulted from Jed's plan and lobby helping many work from home for a better work life balance.

Jed consistently champions Single Market to restore fresh affordable food for local communities and restore export trade for small businesses. Tory and Labour silence on Single Market means lost opportunity lingers, like sewage in waterways.

“We voted, tried Brexit without the Single Market and found Brexit wanting. Nobody likes a friend made a fool of." Jed says."Stopping boats needs two way respect. Stopping refugees and homeless people in Tamworth hotels needs social housing LibDems promise at 150,000 a year."

Jed will push for flood schemes to be enhanced before climate flooding in South Staffordshire. He supports social housing, placed carefully, on work routes, with schools, doctors' surgeries and amenities, protecting best green belt land for farming and says. “We need an inviting town centre with shops open and venues we can use.”
