Candidate for Tipton and Wednesbury

General Election - 4 July 2024

Mark Rochell

Mark was born and raised in Tipton, attending Tipton Green Juniors and Alexandra High School before becoming the first in his family to attend university, studying Business Accounting at Glamorgan. Following university he moved to London where he carved out a successful career in media finance, rising to become the Finance Director of the company that produces the Great British Bake Off. It was whilst in London that Mark first became involved in politics, joining the Lib Dems in 2017 and campaigning in local and national elections. He now works in local government administration as a Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer of a local Parish Council. Mark says "It really is an honour to be able to represent the Lib Dems in my hometown, I fully understand just how much the people of Tipton and Wednesbury deserve a Fair Deal'.
