Victoria Downie is your Liberal Democrat candidate for Wallasey. Vicky lives in Bromborough with her husband of 19 years, Erik, their dog - Spud and their Crested Gecko named Sticky Bob. Vicky moved from Southport, where she was born, to Scotland when she was around 3 years old; she gained her Degree in Biomedical Science at the Robert Gordon University and shortly after moved to Bromborough, where she worked as a Biomedical Scientist for an animal laboratory until 2019. During Covid times Victoria retrained as a Dispenser for a Pharmacy and now works for a charity who cares for vulnerable adults at home and in the community. In her spare time Vicky enjoys attending WI meetings, her group are the Iron Maidens in Liscard. Victoria is also a Guide Leader for her local group, she has been enjoying this since Covid restrictions were lifted, she enjoys inspiring young girls to become empowered women for their future.
