Emily Bigland

Candidate for West Ham and Beckton

General Election - 4 July 2024

Emily Bigland is the Liberal Democrat candidate for West Ham and Beckton. She is the CEO of a charity, Royal Trinity Hospice, supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our society. With over 15 years experience in the NHS, she is a capable professional – and kept the Royal London Hospital’s major trauma centre and Accident Emergency Department running for people in East London during the Covid pandemic.

Emily does not have a traditional political background, and has been motivated to stand due to her concerns about the state of our country. She brings a strong work ethic, liberal values and the desire to create change for our kids and their futures, the most vulnerable in our society and hard-working people.
