David Coveney

David is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Widnes and Halewood. As the product of a poor family background with an abusive father, David moved to Whiston to live with his grandmother and went to the nearby comprehensive. He later settled in Widnes.

Many people worry about the UK's social care system, the environment, and the difficulty young people face with affordable decent quality accommodation. David shares these concerns, and also wishes to ensure that the country remains liberal and progressive, bringing equal opportunity to all.
