Proposed Changes to the Complaints Procedures
The Disciplinary Sub-Group of the Federal Board has proposed changes to the Federal Complaints Procedures.
The below documents will outline and explain the rationale behind those proposed changes. These will be considered by Party Members at the Spring Conference.

Our Party’s Disciplinary process is essential to making sure we are a safe, welcoming space for people who share our aims & values.
Getting that right, for everyone involved, is vital and the Disciplinary Sub-Group (DSG) and Senior Adjudicator Team are constantly reviewing outcomes and processes to find ways that we can refine and improve them.
As part of that program of continuous improvement, we’re bringing a revised version of our complainant process for approval by conference.
These won’t be the last changes we make to these procedures; there will always be ways in which we can improve. If you have suggestions for how the complaints procedures can be improved, please feel free to share them by contacting the DSG, just email dsg@libdems.org.uk - we’ll be happy to take a look.
You can read a plain English summary of the changes below.
