Registration

We estimate the registration process will take around 10 minutes to complete. For returning users we estimate the time to be significantly less.

In order to register as a member you will need your membership number. This is in the footer of any emails sent to you from the Liberal Democrats. For a reminder please contact conferences@libdems.org.uk

We have moved to a new system and as such you will need to enter all your details and register as a new user (if you haven't been to any conference since March 2024).

If you do not remember your password, simply put your username in and click the 'Send me my Password' link. This will trigger an automatic reminder email to the address you gave when you last registered.
We have moved to a new system, if you have not registered for conference since Autumn 2023 you will need to enter all your details and register as a new user.

Full information on how to submit your photo is available when registering. You can take a passport style photo from your device during the registration process.

Please note that if you have become a new member of the Liberal Democrats from 7 March 2025 or later, you cannot register for conference due to police/ security recommendations. You are welcome to register for future conferences (if you are still a current member).

This ticket type is open for people to register until 6 March 2025.
Ticket Types

We do offer a concessionary rate for members who claim certain benefits (listed during the registration process) and provide proof of their status. Simply answer the “Do you wish to claim the concessionary rate?” with “Yes” and follow the instructions on how to submit your concessionary proof.

Yes! We offer a discounted members registration rate for those who are full time students. Simply answer the “Do you wish to claim the concessionary rate?” with “Yes” and follow the instructions on how to submit your claimant proof.

If you’re a member under the age of 18 we offer a discounted registration flat rate of £5. Simply register in the 'Under 18' category and ensure you complete the Parental Consent Form section of your registration.

In some cases it is possible to make changes to passes at the discretion of the conference team. Administration charges may apply. Please contact the conference office at conferences@libdems.org.uk

Charity observer passes are only available to charities with a valid charity number. Any others will need to register as regular commercial observers.
Third Sector Organisations please register as Charity Observer.

There is no limit on the number of passes an eligible organisation can apply for as a charity observer.

Observer passes give full access to the auditorium, fringe and exhibition.

For Spring Conference we do not offer Day tickets.
For Autumn Conference we do offer Day tickets for members and Weekend tickets for members and non members. Please go to 'Register' to see all the ticket categories.

You will be able to watch a live feed from the auditorium on your own laptop/ device and be able to vote on all motions via Mi-Voice
Payments

We are currently only able to take registration payments by either credit or debit card (not amex). If you have a specific difficulty that prevents you from paying by this method, please contact the conference office at conferences@libdems.org.uk and they will try to help.

A link to a VAT receipt is included in your booking confirmation email. If you have difficulty locating this please contact us at conferences@libdems.org.uk and we will resend it to you.
Conference Passes

Details of when your photo conference pass should arrive are given in your confirmation email at the time of booking. Should your pass not have arrived by this point please contact us at conferences@libdems.org.uk

If your pass doesn’t arrive before you leave for conference please come to on-site registration at conference. Location details and opening times are listed in the Conference Directory.

Replacement passes are available at a cost of £10 on-site at the on-site registration desk.

At Spring Conference, the agenda is set by the FCC mid January and published online late January / early February.

Cancellation

All conference pass applications are non-transferable. Should you need to cancel your application, full details of our cancellation policy and deadlines are available on our event page Terms and Conditions on the registration pages for Autumn Conference.
Onsite

There is no formal dress code. You can wear whatever you want.

There is an Info Desk in the main foyer of every conference or ask one of our stewards who wear yellow tops saying 'Steward'.
