James MacCleary

James is the Liberal Democrat MP for Lewes constituency which includes Seaford, Polegate, Newhaven and surrounding villages.

James lives in Newhaven with his young family and lived in Lewes before that. He has lived in the area for nearly twenty years and serves as a local councillor.

He has worked for a number of large charities and campaigning organisations, and most recently ran his own business providing communications and data protection advice and training.

James is campaigning for better local health services, to stop sewage dumping in our rivers and coastal waters and to be a strong, local voice for our community.
