Rachel Gilmour
MP for Tiverton and Minehead
Rachel spent her childhood in Somerset and since 2006 she has lived in Bampton, Devon with her family, which she is proud to represent as Lib Dem district councillor.
Having visited every corner of the constituency, the towns and villages, coast, countryside and moorland, Rachel has a thorough understanding of the many strengths –and the challenges- that rural Devon and Somerset face.
When it comes to Rachel's professional skills, her time as both a director of the NFU and head of strategy at the Environment Agency lend her crucial experience in this rural constituency, and her volunteer experience with the Exmoor Foundation for Integrated Health Care has given Rachel invaluable insight into community health care.
