Bring Back Boris Rally: Classic Conservative infighting

26 May 2023

EMBARGO: 00:01 SATURDAY 13 MAY

Responding to the Bring Back Boris rally being held in Bournemouth on the 13th of May, Liberal Democrat Deputy Leader Daisy Cooper said:

“It’s a bit late for hundreds of Tory activists to descend on Bournemouth, a week after the Liberal Democrats became the largest party on the council.

“As the British public struggles with NHS waiting times, soaring food costs and the sewage being dumped on our beaches, the Conservatives have decided instead to rekindle their infighting.

"The public have given their verdict on the Conservatives' constant chaos; at next year’s General Election they’ll have a chance to tell them again - and make them listen.”
