Flitwick Town Council letter a clear sign that Mid Bedfordshire is sick of being taken for granted

31 Jul 2023

EMBARGO: IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Responding to Flitwick Town Council writing to Nadine Dorries formally asking her to resign, Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Olney said:

"This unprecedented move shows local people are fed up with being taken for granted by an absent MP and this Conservative government.

"While families across Bedfordshire are struggling to see a GP and facing soaring mortgage costs, Nadine Dorries continues to hold onto a job she has no interest is doing.

"Dorries needs to step aside now to give people the chance to elect a proper local champion, one that will stand up for them and champion their voices in Parliament."
