IFS: Tories have left British people worse off

Responding to the IFS statement on the state of public finances, Liberal Democrat Treasury Spokesperson Sarah Olney said:
"The Conservative party’s chaos and mismanagement has damaged our economy and left British people worse off, saddling them with hundreds of pounds in unfair stealth taxes while damaging our public services. Hard working families deserve so much better.
"We need to bring back certainty and stability, invest in skills and green jobs to power growth, and properly fund our NHS to tackle the trend of long-term health conditions stopping people from being active in our economy."
