Staunton interview: Horizon victims need swift and fair compensation

Responding to the allegations reported in the Sunday Times made by Post Office Chair, Henry Staunton, that he was instructed by a senior civil servant to stall on compensation payments to victims of the Horizon Scandal, Liberal DemocratLeader Ed Davey said:

"These allegations are deeply disturbing and Ministers must come to Parliament and explain exactly what has happened at the earliest opportunity.

"The victims of this horrific miscarriage of justice need swift and fair compensation. It is the least they deserve."
