Bedford Borough Mayoral Selection 2025

Make a lasting impact on our town by applying to be our candidate for Mayor in 2027. We're seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to lead Bedford Borough into the future.

The Local Party of North Bedfordshire is now accepting applications for selection as candidate for Mayor of Bedford.

Note that to stand for election as Mayor in 2027 the successful applicant will need to meet the local election eligibility criteria: living, working, owning property, on the electoral roll.

Applicants should obtain an application pack from the Returning Officer by emailing: Sal Jarvis at sal@sjarvis.org.uk 

Completed applications must then be returned, by e-mail, to the Returning Officer by 6th March 2025, together with a separate signed document accepting the statements in the Candidate Consent Form (ROGN 6b) which is attached.
