The Local Party Executive of Shetland Liberal Democrats invites applications for selection as Prospective Scottish Parliamentary Candidate for the Shetland Constituency.

Scottish Liberal Democrat parliamentarians presently hold both the Shetland Holyrood and Orkney & Shetland Westminster seats. We seek a candidate with the drive and ambition to maintain the delivery of the Lib Dem message and provide the support and championship required on local and national issues.

Applications must be received by the Returning Officer by 5pm on Monday, 14 April 2025.

It is the responsibility of applicants to check that their applications have been received by the Returning Officer by the closing date.

Applicants not currently on the Party’s list of Approved Candidates may apply if they are actively seeking approval.
