Prospective Scottish Parliamentary Candidates for the Edinburgh and Lothians East Region.

The Regional Selection Committee for Edinburgh and Lothians East invite applications for selection of a list of seven Prospective Scottish Parliamentary Candidates for the Edinburgh and Lothians East Region. 

Scottish Parry agreed at the Autumn Conference in 2024 that the top position on this Regional List will be reserved for a female candidate.

Applications must be received by the Returning Officer by Noon on Thursday, 3 April 2025.

Applicants not currently on the Party’s list of Approved Candidates may only apply if they are currently seeking approval. The Returning Officer can explain the approval process. 

It is the responsibility of applicants to check that their applications have been received by the Returning Officer by the closing date.
