Job Details

Following the successful election of Zöe Franklin, MP for Guildford, ALDC are recruiting a development officer, to support and develop Liberal Democrat councillors, council groups and activists at a local level, to help them effectively represent their communities and to enable them to campaign and win local by elections, and build towards future elections.

The successful applicant will join a team of 5 development officers working across Great Britain.

The role is for 21 hours per week, but flexibility is required, and the post involves some weekend and evening work.

Interview/Start Dates

Interviews will be via Zoom in the week beginning 12th August 2024. Candidates for interview willbe notified by 5pm on 9th August 2024.

The expectation is that the successful candidate will be in place by (and attend) the LiberalDemocrat party conference from the 13th to 17th September 2024.
